Morning everyone, I've been absent this past week busy with family and work - just life lol !
It's 23/29 for me today, had a glass of prosecco on Mothers Day (didn't really enjoy it tbh) and on another occasion I had a glass of wine and a gin cocktail (which I did enjoy!). Those emoji's are adding up. I've enjoyed reading back all the discussions, lots of wise advice 👍6 -
Poor month in terms of Alcohol Free Days, mainly due to staying away on business, stuck in hotels etc. However I’ve started to keep a log of no. of alcoholic units on an APP & these are reducing. 9/18 @cathybird

Hi all 25/30 for me. Went to football @ Sevenoaks, National Non League day! Cost me 30p less for the Dartford crossing than a ticket, coffee, crisps and a raffle ticket! Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!3

24/28 please cathybird. Just had an AF weekend and should hopefully see out the rest of the month alc’ free as well.Totally agree with satchmo1 and AllNightDiner re. post-Covid susceptibility to infections; I had C19 in October (first time for me) and since then I’ve been flattened by two separate heavy colds that just wouldn’t shift and that both turned into sinus / chest infections that really wiped the floor with me. Before that, it wouldn’t be unusual for me to go a year or two between colds and they always cleared up in a couple of days. (Said with all proper respect to those who suffered far worse with it of course)5
