baked cinnamon rolls, and a brownie tray that looks more like a cake base (I did'nt se the instructions before it was to late. The kids would'nt eat my chichen stew... but ate lots of rice instead.

I wonder if I have the strenght to go through the sheed this weekend so we can try and leave some more things for commision selling, we tend to use things until they are not sellable but sometimes we get a litte money and what dose'nt sell the store leaved to carity

Thanks for posting @Ms_Green.  A lot of members on this forum bake a lot. As there are only 2 of us it cheaper to buy the items than make them. There are lots of foods I cannot have. I may have a go at recipes with just have 4 or 5 ingredients in them, and which the ingredients do not cost the earth to buy .

It is a month since I posted.  I am still trying to be as frugal as I can be. 
I am putting money away every day into my Xmas fund and have opened a Monzo account which I can transfer my Xmas savings into .

Hope everyone is keeping up with being frugal.

I am not to frugal at the moment . We are having a kitten in a few weeks time. So getting everything needed for its arrival.

Enjoy the furry owner! Yes you need some things but I can tell you all my furry owners loved empty boxes and hair ties/ milk bottle tops, which are easy to find, but be careful of the hair ties, the furries are beggers for trying to eat them.

Don't buy a special bed - they will sleep where they want. Don't bother with buying expensive toys - they will play with everything. The only thing I would recommend is something for them to scratch, a litter box and scoop, and a couple of bowls for food and water. Everything else they will just take over as they want it.

So our new arrival has been with us for 3 weeks now .  He is a bundle of joy.  He takes up a
lot of my time but I am thoroughly enjoying his company.  
They do not stay kittens for long.
