My Frugal Year 2023

I want to be as frugal as possible  in 2023.  Spent a lot on clothes last year-weight gain/weight loss.
I shall use different methods to gain offers if I need to buy anything.

Day 1. 
It will be nsd 1 today.  No plans to go out today.

I want to write a letter to a penpal

Enter competitions
Do some surveys
Food will be from the fridge.
Pay some money to my cc.

Lovely Sunny day here .

I also will try and do an exercise routine.  I have a weighted hoop and fitbit premium.

No planned spending.  Food from freezer stocks
NSD2/31

Plans for today are ;
Taking down Christmas Decorations
Penpal letter ( carried over from yesterday)
Cooking tea
Get clothes ready for tomorrow as normal life returns after the Christmas Break
Payment across to cc

I would like to have a Frugal year this year too.
I lost a lot of weight previously and have a full wardrobe of better fitting clothes-so no need to buy any clothes year(that is the plan )
I shall be careful food shopping and just paying off my loans. I have told my family to call me Mrs Frugal 2023

I too need to have a frugal 2023.  There is a bill in the offing that is either going to be huge or ginormous, not sure which yet, and I need to save as much as possible so my savings don’t get too depleted.  I know what I’m not going to give up - meeting up with friends for coffee, lunch or the occasional night out - so my focus will be on not spending on clothing, and continuing to cut down on the grocery bill by careful meal planning.

If I do require clothing I buy from vinted.  I shall also be selling the items of clothing on there that I have grown out of after my weight loss.

Day 3.
Back to work today. Christmas put away until the end of the year.

Food from stocks - Vegan sausages, potato and frozen veg.

I bought a lovely apricot lipstick from Vinted yesterday the money will be taken out of Christmas money which I had.

Yesterday I wrote a letter to a hopefully new penpal.  Also found someone else I would like to write to. There birthday is later on in January, so I will make a birthday card from my craft stash, to save buying one and enclose a letter at the same time.

MSE things today - tackle some shredding and clean bathroom.

@black-saturn do you have the recipe for chickpea veggie loaf?  We have just got prime and I love it . I have watched so many programmes/films over the holidays

I agree about Prime.  I think it's worthwhile for the programmes/films on there as well as getting stuff delivered without paying extra for postage.  I pay annually as it's a bit cheaper but I still put the money away each month and earn a bit on interest on it!

Day 4.

Not an nsd today as shopping tonight at Ld.  We split the bill between us so I shall be paying half of the total amount.

Pay a sum to CC.

Do some more shredding.

Back to work at normal time.

Maybe a load of washing.

Weather here looks like rain.

Rest of day four. 
Spent £28.42 at Lidl - My share is £14.21 .
Passata has gone up to 49p a carton now in Aldi
The payment to help with the electric went through last night.

Exercise wise I clocked up 12, 230 steps so this will help shift some Christmas weight off me.

Today Day 5 

No plans to spend any money so should be nsd 4.

I will do free bingo  games.

I have just done the microsoft quizzes to gain points to exchange for vouchers

Pay some money off cc.

Housework wise - A load of washing to do and hang up .
Tidy up bathroom
