This afternoon I have made a birthday card from my craft stash instead of buying one.
Also I have written a letter to my penpal and enclosed the birthday card.

Sorry to hear about your cat, we have had 2 PTS and it’s awful, we gave 1 cat left and when he’s gone I’m not sure will have another but doesn’t seem right as had at least 1 all 20 years we lived here 😢

Thank you for commenting @Crazycatlady2.  We feel the same at the moment that we will not have another cat.  The house feels so empty though. I have had cats for most of the last 30 years.

Morning Everyone.

Yesterday was not an nsd day. I bought some storage trays to put in one of the bedroom drawers.
I sorted out all my cosmetics and toiletries and threw away or put in charity bag for the things I di not want or use.

Work today.  

Hang washing over airer.  
Pay money to CC and Isa.
Play free bingo games
Do some surveys.

I shall wrap up with an extra layer as it is very cold .

It's coming up to 2 years since we had to let our little lady go, we are just starting to think of getting another furry owner, so hugs to both of you for the loss of the furry family members.

Over half of the cats we have had found us and moved in. Sometimes it isn't a decision you make. Most of the others were brought to us by someone who found them and felt they needed a home. Only the last two were deliberate choices - on the part of my roommates who went to the animal shelter to find a cat. In both cases, the cat picked them out. I still think cats think of themselves as in charge.

Evening Everyone

Woke up to a very light covering of Snow.  All gone now.

Had to order another hot water botte as mine perished.  Arrived today.

Put some money for the 1p challenge

Did some washing and hung it over the rack

Cleaned  the vacuum filter

Morning .

Not posted for a few days . I had a busy week last week

I am keeping my spends down to a minimum.

I had to pay £8 yesterday as my yearly social club membership.

I went to the pantomime on Friday afternoon - no spends as I was a volunteer,


In MSE news I have decluttered two areas of the main bedroom. Some things went to the charity shop bag .   A storage box now hides the remaining items.


Back to work today.

Housework will be to vacuum the living room.

So my spending needs to be rained in a little.  
But if I do need something then I look for offers on them.
February will be a spendy month my OH has a big birthday coming up.
