  • Yes I will def go for plan A initially, but my question still stands, I dont understand why, given the above details, this is the case...

" your NTK does not comply with POFA."

Nothing in the OP seems to suggest it's non POFA compliant.

@PocketD, as suggested earlier by @Fruitcake, please start a new thread about your problem.

Continuing here will only lead to confusion.
  • Sorry for the confusion, I'm not talking about my problem, I'm asking about the original poster's.

The OP had a NTK but he was told on here to appeal saying it's non POFA compliant.

But no one seems to be able to explain why it's non POFA compliant.   Even the text he was asked to use doesn't explain why it's non POFA compliant.

We don't need to.  In 2022 Group Nexus used non-PoFA wording.  It was well known and well documented on this forum loads of times.  Explained so many times over the years until we were blue in the face!  We didn't need to explain on this 2022 thread.

More importantly: now, in most cases they do use the POFA.  So someone like you with a new PCN reading this old thread in late 2023 isn't going to help your case at all.  Highly unlikely the same applies now in your case.

Also, I already explain in the NEWBIES thread how to spot if a NTK is POFA worded, or not.  We don't need to repeat it on every thread.  The NEWBIES thread is a resource thread, to stop us drowning in the same thing and having to repeat ourselves here every day.

We do this in our own time for no reward and we wouldn't cope if we had to walk everyone through the basics (like POFA wording) on every thread.

The main message is: don't read old threads!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Ok so the short answer is, Group Nexus used non POFA wording in their NTKs 9 months ago, but don't now.

Apologies I hadn't seen that on my travels on trying to do some research in the forums for hours for my NTK.

Just for clarification, I wasn't asking how to spot if an NTK is POFA or not, I am aware of that (having had a non POFA 'golden ticket' PCN cancelled a few months ago).  I was merely trying to understand why, what looked like a perfectly valid POFA NTK was being called non POFA, I thought I was missing something.

Therefore, I do apologise for reading an old thread.
