hi after a bit of help regarding capital gains tax, back in 2017 me and my brother inherited my late mothers house, after she passed i alone moved in to the house we did probate which was under the 325k inheritance tax.my brother passed away 18mths ago so i now have the house in my name,i still live there and it has never been rented out, but i am thinking of selling the house to down size but not sure if i will have to pay capital gains tax. ive done a bit of research but its beyond me.
