Why is no one mentioning this account - seems quite good - only lose £100 if you need to access your funds whilst earning 4% tax free

There are over 10 better paying 3 year alternatives with rates up to 4.65%. There's a 1 year fix paying 4%, which even allows penalty free access of up to 10% of the balance multiple times (otherwise a ~1% penalty). It doesn't seem to win out either on best rate for the term or best access for the rate.

The penalty charge is good though, especially is you have a significant sum in there. Normally withdrawing after one year would cost you 6 months interest. On £50K that would be £1000.
