I've asked for this to be merged with the identical issue already being discussed on this thread:

  • 30 days? or 30 working days? and how is voucher to be sent? if via post you could add a week.
I very much doubt there's breach of contract for a good few weeks yet - and even then you would have to give them time and opportunity to make things right.
  • And did it say that you would receive a voucher within 30 days, or that one would be sent within 30 days (and was that 30 days or 30 working days)? As there has been a postal strike (and some public holidays) ...
ID Mobile themselves (on their forum) have categorically stated that all recipients should have received the voucher by the 29th of November, no one has yet.

First thing to check is the terms and conditions of the offer.  Does it say "while stocks last" or similar?

No nothing like that. Judging by the number of threads on the id mobile forum , we’ve all been monumentally scammed.

According to the ID mobile forum referred to by northernlass29876 the offer (now expired) was:
Get a free £100 Currys Gift voucher included with purchase of the Google Pixel 7 only. Offer runs 16/11/22 – 29/11/22 or whilst device stocks last.

As the late queen so diplomatically put it 'recollections may vary'.

This says “while stocks of the device last”, not stocks of the voucher.

Everybody who has posted in the ID mobile forum has received the Google Pixel 7, so I am certain that that clause is not relevant to this discussion. The voucher is a digital voucher sent to email addresses therefore there should be no issue in anybody having received it.

Many of the posters on the ID mobile forum said this is similar to what happened with EE last year and ID mobile last year too. I cannot post links or I would post the link to the ID mobile forum, but a quick glance there will show you that this problem is clearly widespread.

There seems to be some confusion as to whether the stock which may or may not run out is Mobile phones or  the voucher and therefore everyone may be correct.

  • Hi Jumblebumble - see my previous post - I just addressed that particular quote! Thanks

You can post links by dropping the https and www bits ... and maybe add a space between the dot and com - this should get around the forum filter.

But I'm guessing you're meaning a thread like this?

    https://community.idmobile.co.uk/ask-a-question-18/100-currys-voucher-link-from-money-saving-expert-scam-50524

Here shows a list of threads, many of which are on the same topic:

  • I too have an issue with iD: I referred a friend, they joined and we then received e-mail confirmation that we would receive a voucher. That was back in October.

I'm essentially in a fight with iD now having to send them their own e-mail confirmation of the offer to me ... but guess what ... it was never sent and they are going 'round in circles attempting the most basic delay tactics known to mankind.
  • I'm new, so unable to edit a post - but just to confirm: iD HAVE sent me their e-mail confirmation that I would be receiving the offer, but now I have to forward their own e-mail back to them.

Which I have done, twice, but they seem to 'just not be receiving it'.
