Week one of fifty two .
Its so lovely to read everyones diaries and plans at this time of year and oh so motivating !
As with everyone else i shall be working really hard to save as much as possible towards paying off my mortgage this year .Then if all goes well saving to build another extension on to my house , that is the dream anyway.....So as before i need to save around £500 a week ,this is going to mean tons of overtime again for my husband and lots of scrimping along the way plus all of my small wage every week so lets see how we go3 -
Week 1 / 52
£500 has gone in to PBs today .. I have been very good so far ,food budget is well on track and three NS days . I have also managed my challenge so far to make an extra £14 a day income ..Mind you ,it is only day three !3 -
Good luck. I love the ambition, I’m also going hard on my mortgage. How are you aiming to put aside £500/week? Where have you cut back?3

RS89 and newgirly .Thank you both .
Round up of Week 1.
7 no spend days
8 items decluttered
Challenge to make extra income of £14 a day ..I made £231.77 ,i achieved this by several sales on Ebxy plus taking money out of Topcashback, saving 25% on a supermarket shop and selling a large item on a local selling site oh and a £10 postcode lottery win
£500 from my husbands overtime and my wage ..£250 went straight to mort OP and £250 to PBs
Food budget too was only about £3 over my budget so that was all good too3 -
That’s a great start!MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁3

Week 2 and £500 saved ..£250 went to PBs and £250 in to mortgage O/Ps..
I will do a round up tomorrow for the week .I did buy myself some new clothes which was a bit naughty although it did come out of our Christmas gift money so it was really money left over from 2022 and not 20233
