Yes it is for hardware but when you have a problem with an Apple device take it to an Apple Store and they will do their utmost to sort it out. Last time I went with a problem, I reset a MacBook Pro so I could sell it I deleted everything by mistake, took it into an Apple Store and they had it plugged into their system for many hours and fixed it for free.
I thought the Apple limited warranty was only for a fixed period of time (1 year or 2 years from when it was originally bought). Is that not so?MikeJXE said:
Then you need Apple Store, you can take it back anytime with software problems and get it fixed for free. Accidental damage is a different matterBubble1971 said:Customer service is best for me, when I’m spending that amount of money then I don’t want any problems if it goes wrong.
An iPhone I had trouble with a software issue 18 months old, the software couldn't be fixed and they gave me a brand new iPhone
IMO they are thee Best1 -
Apart from Apple, I was unsure of the customer service from cex, musicmagpie, backmarket etc during any warranty period. Are they reliable and easy to deal with?0

Apple Store will fix Apple devices wherever you buy it from, obviously not the hardware if it isn't under Apple warranty
Not sure how it works with the companies you have mentioned1
