Best place to buy refurbished / used iPad?

Hi, I’m looking at buying a 2021 iPad Pro and want to buy a refurbished one. Can anyone recommend the best place to buy one from, I’m looking for somewhere that has good customer service just in case anything goes wrong. Thanks

The best place is Apple refurbished, others are available, backmarket.com and others

  • I’ve been looking at Apple but they never seem to have a 3rd generation iPad Pro available. I have usually bought from Apple in the past.

Depends on your criteria of "best". Best to one person is not important to another.

    Is best cheapest
Or is best good customer service/perks?

For example my brother is currently looking to buy a new iPhone but doesn't want to pay brand new price. I linked him Apple refurb & Music Magpie.

Apple Refurb is cheapest but doesn't have colours he likes.
Music Magpie for red is £10 dearer but then doesn't have Apple's superb customer service & I'm not sure if 2yr AppleCare is then an option or not via MM.

He may choose the one with a pretty colour is best.
Or be sensible & go via Apple Refurb.

  • Customer service is best for me, when I’m spending that amount of money then I don’t want any problems if it goes wrong.

Then you need Apple Store, you can take it back anytime with software problems and get it fixed for free. Accidental damage is a different matter
  • Thanks Mike, I do keep checking the refurbished stock on Apple but they haven’t had any 3rd generation ones in for a couple of months.

Then from my personal opinion I'm in agreement with MikeJXE - it's Apple directly. When I've had to call on their CS they've been fantastic. I'm a very critical person but can't really fault them from my own experience. They've been great.

Yes I had however after reading lots of reviews and comparing them I think that the pro will be better for me.

I thought the Apple limited warranty was only for a fixed period of time (1 year or 2 years from when it was originally bought). Is that not so?
