I'm not sure who I should be complaining to, that's the problem really as Tesco are saying I need to take it up with One4AllPollycat said:Did your relatives talk to the manager of the store?
Definitely follow their complaints procedure.0 -
I think I would get the cards back from your nephews and then go back to Tesco to discuss with the store customer service manager as they are responsible for your consumer rights.

It’s printed in the card and there is also a link on the website which takes you to the UK website if JD Sports.
I’m not sure the note in the link below is sufficient, particularly when the OP would have had no reason to visit the website when purchasing from Tesco. In my view, they need to go back to Tesco on the basis that the cards aren’t fit for purpose because they can’t be spent where they were led to believe they could be spent, based on the design of the card and the supplied material.

OP, when did you buy the cards (or receive them if online purchase)?
You can return them within 14 days for a full refund.
If that is not possible, JD Sports issue appears to be a temporary one. I am sure they will be anxious to get it fixed because customers with these cards will be coming in at this busy time of year intending to buy stuff and taking the sales to their competitors instead, as suggested above. However it will not be quick or easy for them to get their creaking software patched, especially at this time of year.
The One4all cards are valid for at least 18 months.1
