@outoftheviciouscircle the £4.70 for returning carrier bags was Ocado.  They give a 10 p credit for every bag you return, I think it is only meant to be on their own bags but they gave it for all the ones I returned and there was a fair few in there from elsewhere.

My partner cannot get the idea that he must take the bags from the boot into the shop and often gets another.  I know there are cheaper stores but I'm time poor and they had all I wanted.

£50 won the premium bonds.  I have an Emergency Fund on the premium bonds because I know I will not touch it other than real emergencies whereas savings IMHO have an air of flexibility about them.  For this reason I think of savings interest as income so am not counting it for the challenge but the £50 is going to get counted as to me it is like a lottery win

My running total is £256.90  which is fantastic :)
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

That would be nice @CMD79 I tend to fall off the wagon later in the year so an early win would be ace
Haha! See what you can do whilst you're still on it then! :-)outoftheviciouscircle said:
I have managed a few surveys over the last few days on Prolific but waiting for them to become payable. So hopefully I can add to the total by the end of the weekend.
A few people have said they've found longer waits for the payouts in the last coupe of weeks. I guess because of Christmas etc, but keep up the activity - it won't be too long!

I wish I could have insurance cash backs every month!
Cashback coming in from Christmas purchases so February will be a tough one - will have to get a lot more creative then!
Me too! I have found myself scrolling through TopCashback and wondering just what I can sign up to. Since I now have savings for the first time in my life, I did take a look at their long-term savings accounts. I'll have a good look tonight, but some of them pay massive amounts!
    November 2023

I'm always in it, it's only the depth that varies....

    Current debt: £10,806.75
Debt free date April 2025 (though expecting this to come forward)
