I'd be interested to know the details: presumably it's the heel of outer footwear, not socks or tights, for instance? And do items have to be sent away to be mended?

No new spends to report here. 

I'm off to a wedding tomorrow - DH old work friend - who I have never met. This means that I can reuse a dress that I wore to one of my friend weddings. 😄 
It must have been hard with no new spends (Germany) especially if you fell pregnant for the first time.

@Gem-gem yes, what a pain that would be! It must have been very depressing being told they would make Germany wonderful for its people and then the women having nothing at all. I think people became very disillusioned. That's the problem with buying into smart-talking conmen and letting prejudice run riot

Too true.  We're witnessing it today with The Orange One.  Hopefully, he'll be convicted of fraud before he can run again for US president.  Otherwise, who knows what the denouement will be?
