Update I was able to get the VRM number as the third-party car frequently parks there. I have passed on the details to the Police who will issue Form 953 and also informed my Insurance. Police and Insurance can't do much if the third party refuses to accept.
How can you prove it’s the same car

What's a Form 953? Is it your local plod's name for a Section 172 notice?
Correction.... It's Form 963. Yes, it is.

Same brand/trim/colour, parked there several times, and later face recognition.

    Hello op,

I am in a similar situation I got hit (rear) by a car the guy did not even get out just drove off. Fortunately I have a dash cam which has identified the vehicle. I am with LV too, how did they deal with the repair side of things and courtesy car?
