No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries January 2023

Another mini gone
ESPA Yuzu and ginger cleansing sorbet - this is a balm so not sure why they call it a sorbet? Lovely product that I would buy if in a sale or on offer, not at the £40 full retail price though!Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without3 -
UUs
- Mad About Skin- Got You Covered Super Serum: HG, love this stuff- ordered a replacement at start of Jan as I knew it'd be finished this month, so have it ready to go.
- Dear, Klairs - Midnight Blue Youth Activating Drop: Very watery serum, and I prefer one with a bit of body to it. This also contains EGF and I'm not sure about that ingredient, esp since I am pale and freckly. Used up on hands and body, am glad it is now gone. WNBA. Believe this was on my PP list!
- L'Oreal Infallible 24hr Freshwear foundation- Ivory Rose: Surprise finish this morning- I knew it was close, but didn't realise this would be its last day. Love this foundation! Bought one for over the Christmas break, as I couldn’t risk it running out over the festive period, so I have one in the stash ready to go.

Updated PP list- used up 4 items so far!
- Haruharu WONDER - Black Rice Hyaluronic Toner
- HaruHaru Wonder- Black Rice Hyaluronic Cream
- Simple Protect 'N' Glow Radiance Booster SPF30
- BIG Tresemme shampoo: Finished one my mum gave me last year, and now onto the second one
- Concrete Minerals mineral Eyeshadow in Ruse: WHEN WILL THIS EVER BE FINISHED??
I was so tempted to throw this out, but it feels v wasteful, so I will continue trying to hate-pan it....
- Klairs Midnight Blue Youth Activating Drops
- Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum: soooooooooooo fragranced. Using up on hands/body.
- No 7 Resurfacing Peel: this was a gift with purchase and I am too scared to use it- it's 15% glycolic and I think it might burn my face off.... I only use 7%!!
- The Body Shop: Vitamin E Skin Cooling Gel Mist: think this will be good in the spring/summer
- Tony Moly - The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Skin toner
- The Body Shop- Aloe Calming Toner
- Tigi Bed Head- Beach Bound Protection Spray
- John Frida Frizz Ease- Original
- Batiste Dry Shampoo- Tropical
- The Body Shop InstaGlow CC Cream
- Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Toner
- Jackie's Hen Do Lip Balm x 2
- Vaseline Cocoa Radiant Body Oil
- Elf Jelly Pop Glow Stick: nice but I've had it a while and it's a creamy stick, so should use it up
- LilyLolo Mineral Blush- Beach Babe: for some reason I ordered a few of these over time, clearly not realising I already owned it- *doh* and I don't love the colour that much, so would like at least one gone from my stash
- LilyLolo Mineral Blush- Goddess: a deeper more rusty rose red colour, doesn't hugely suit me.
- Benefit Gogo Tint: bright cherry lip n cheek tint. Don't really use this very much (always prefered the cha cha peachy one), so would like to use it up this year
- Sugarpill liquid lipstick- in Trinket: looks quite dark on me, but kinda fun as it has gold sparkles that show up over time, but almost finished, so going to keep working on this!

Hodgepodge said:VALM said:@Hodgepodge I used to love the Elemis toners but am now a convert to the M&S Pure one. I have the blue bottle which (annoyingly) I can't find on their website now.
I have quite a few in my stash and they often include them in QVC TSVs, so I always seem to have them and can't try anything else.
Thanks for the recommendation anyway :-)
I know what you mean. I used to accumulate them from QVC.

Updated PP List 24.01.2023Skinsense Retinol serumUltrasun SPFPure night creamColourpop Coconut milkToo faced Old MoneyColourpop Here's 2 u lipglossMenu hair gelUU Balance Me Vitamin C Serum. This was nice but the Skin Saints one is nicer. I couldn't feel any tingle with the Balance Me one.So, we are entering the last week of January and I have good progress on most of the items:-Skinsense Retinol serum. When I unscrew the pump and I can "pan" at the bottom.Ultrasum SPF. The canister is feeling very light however there is no way to ascertain how much product is left.Pure Night cream. Again, I can see pan at the bottom.Colourpop Coconut milk - probably one quarter of the product left.Colourpop Here's 2U lipgloss - stopper is out and I am now scraping product from the edges of the tube.Menu hair gel - tube cut open.I'm hopeful that the last three products will be done by the end of the month.I do keep reaching for the eyeshadow but know it won't be done.I had a good result yesterday. I recently found a John Lewis gift card that I was given for my 50th birthday (I'm now 53) and took it into store who told me I couldn't use it as it had not been activated. Told me to call Customer Services. I put it away and forgot about it again until this weekend when I came across it again. Rang JL yesterday and they kindly sent me a new EGift Card in its place. Am waiting for the Kiehls Turmeric face mask to come back in stock and will then make a purchase. It will be nicely discounted when the gift card value is taken off.

Was nice but very glittery.Menu hair gel - again this came in a goody bag. WNBA as it's a mens grooming product though it was fine. Also UU a Wet n Wild Bare lip liner. This was retractable and the last part broke off. I'm not buying any more retractable products for this reason (apart from bullet lipsticks).Have added a couple of items as I feel I can still get through them this month. I've been wearing the lip lacquer with the gloss I finished and the stopper is removed from this also. I think I picked the shower gel up from a hotel in York.

UU:
Used up a couple of bubble bars, end of a shampoo and conditioner.Haven’t bought anything in Jan and that’s the first time in a long time I haven’t shopped all month!Ive unsubscribed from beauty emails for now.
Will carry on with my project pan for Feb and March as is. Might change some round and add some more body care to encourage me to use up some creams and such.5 -
@OnABudget2023 you're doing well in that you haven't spent this month. I unsubscribed from all those beauty emails too. I find with bronzer that pan suddenly appears inexplicably. I'm working on OC from the Urban decay Gwen Stefani palette at the moment however am using quite a large brush because I only want light application.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge.
