    I'm not recommending this company by any means, but I did enter into such an insurance contract when I was in a similar position with my youngest son, and didn't fancy picking up the bill for someone else's kids.

    Just a thought.

    Yes I was going to do this if I got forced down the guarantor route - no brainer.

    If this is still ongoing you really want to check out the paperwork!
    Tenancy agreement,  EPC ? EICR? GSC? How to rent leaflet? Deposit info, PAT testing 
    Did you receive a copy of the  tenancy contract?

    Could you possibly challenge the validity of the Contract based on your Son's capacity to enter a Contract based on his Aspergers diagnosis
