As an aside, 9 Vanguard funds seems like a lot. Are you overcomplicating your asset allocation (especially given you've mentioned LS100 which is already highly diversified)?

    Thanks @masonic

Yes, Ive over complicated things  by having too many funds in Vanguard. Over the years I couldnt resist tinkering with things!

Im obviously misreading things. On iWeb's ISA transfer form it says:

Please note, If you decide to transfer from another broker within the current tax year you'll need to transfer your full account. We can only accept partial account transfers from previous tax years and not for the current tax year.

I read that as being I could do partial transfer from previous tax years. (As Ive been doing form Hargreaves to Vanguard for years).

Then, on the transfer form it shows this:

Theres a 'No' option for 'Transfer the money you’ve put into a Stocks and Shares ISA in all previous tax years, alongside any investments bought with this money? If you choose 'Yes', your Stocks and Shares ISA subscriptions and investments for all previous tax years will be transferred in full.'

So I thought if I selected 'No' then that was saying I only wanted to select partial previous year's ISA.

I'm interested in this thread too, after seeing the total annual fees we're paying to Fidelity at the moment. 😲

We have approx £200k between us, and so a low fee platform is looking very tempting.   We have very few trades (funds only).

How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)

    Correct, you are misreading things.

No, the Yes/No option is for transferring previous years in full. If you select Yes, all of your previous years subscriptions will be transferred, while if you select No, none will be transferred. When you select No to current and previous years, then the following error will be displayed when you click Continue:
iWeb do permit partial transfers of previous year subscriptions, but only for cash ISAs, not S&S ISAs. That is why it says in the screenshot you posted above "You can only transfer your subscriptions for all previous years in full."

Based on that info, iWeb would be an ideal option for you. Fidelity is still competitive for a SIPP if you invest heavily in exchange traded securities due to their cap on custody fees, but their S&S ISA is becoming much less competitive even using this tactic.

Ive just made a  note of each funds' ISINs I have with Vanguard. iWeb offer all but 3 of them (with a combined value of £10k).

Ill have a think on what to do.... but my current thinking is to max out my current year's ISA and transfer that to iWeb. Then, perhaps when I have built-up the courage, I will move everything from Vanguard to iWeb.

Out of interest, which funds could you not find? Sometimes it's difficult to find something at iWeb, but it is actually there and searchable under slightly different criteria.
Whatever you decide to do, step 1 would be to sort out your asset allocation before moving, because it will cost you £10 per fund switch after you move.

You have probably sussed this already but IWeb have different search options in their Research Centre
If you have any EFTs you should use the Share Search and not the Funds Centre

    The funds are:
FTSE All-World High Dividend Yield UCITS ETF (VHYL) - IE00B8GKDB10
    FTSE All-World UCITS ETF (VWRL) - IE00B3RBWM25
    S&P 500 UCITS ETF (VUSA) - IE00B3XXRP09

The funds they do have are:
Global Bond Index Fund - Hedged Accumulation - IE00B50W2R13
FTSE Developed World ex-U.K. Equity Index Fund - Accumulation - GB00B59G4Q73
    LifeStrategy® 100% Equity Fund - Accumulation - GB00B41XG308
    LifeStrategy® 80% Equity Fund - Accumulation - GB00B4PQW151
FTSE Global All Cap Index Fund Accumulation - GB00BD3RZ582
    U.S. Equity Index Fund - Accumulation - GB00B5B71Q71

Other than the Global Bond Index Fund, all the other ISIN's that are available start with GB. So perhaps thats got something to do with it. Though like you say, perhaps they are available but cant be found by searching on its ISIN.

As you can see from my list of Vanguard funds, theres much duplication going on. Im sure these could all be combined to just one fund (probably LifeStrategy100).

The first 3, presumably the ones you can't find, are available with IWeb. They are ETFs and can be found in the Shares Search
