    Morning all,

The total PAD for 23 August 2023 was £104.25

Glad you had a good holiday @Spinayarn, that's the main thing, the budget like you said can be tweaked for future holidays. The main thing is that you made memories and enjoyed yourself. That is a great and clever quote isn't it @AntoMac? Here is another one, that looks at how our inner critic can make us feel ugliness and pain, but there is hope and beauty in all of us. Perspective makes all the difference...

    Morning all,

The total PAD for 24 August 2023 was £217.50

Glad you liking the quotes @LittleMissDetermined, they're very cleverly done aren't they? I'm sure I'll find some more, but today instead I want to share my favourite poem about being kind to ourselves. I have this printed on my wall by desk and by my bed, so that if I feel overwhelmed, I can read it and give myself permission to just breathe essentially.

Just £1 PAD today.  Slowly but surely my EF is mounting up!  Planning a bit of a clear out today so hope to make a little on eBay and the rest to charity.

    Afternoon all,

The total PAD for 25 August 2023 was £436.55

Glad everyone's liking the quotes and poems 🤗 and don't worry @LittleMissDetermined, I'm just exceptionally extra with all my quotes and stuff. I sometimes just google how I am feeling or what I want to achieve and add 'quote' or 'poem' at the end.  So like today, I searched for a 'positive changes poem' and this is today's offerings...

Hi all. I actually made lots of payments yesterday as my overtime payment from July arrived yesterday. I had worked extra hours every day so it was a big payout. I’m going to list them as PADs over the next week as it will still keep me on the board each day. Hope this is ok with everyone.

The first one was £469 which went to the Emergency Fund and means I now have a full £1000 in there. Can’t believe I have achieved this. 😀
