Yes, that's the valve for the fill loop (you can see the flexihose). It should be turned fully clockwise.herebeme said:
Ok. I am going to bleed as soon as I get a new key.macman said:You don't need to pay anyone to fix it. Just bleed the rad back to about 1.5 bar when cold. Takes 2 minutes.
There will be a filling loop with two valves on it under the boiler. Where the water feed pipe comes in.I assume the filling loop is the thing with the white valve in the first photo in the set at the bottom of page 1? Would I need to turn that left or right to fully close.2 -
Ok. I depressurised via bleeding a radiator. Went a little too low (and got a F.75) and had to re-pressurise with the filling loop (and I left that very definitely fully closed). So now it’s at 1.5 bar in the digital display and the lower third of the grey bar in the dial. And when the water or heating go on then it goes up to 1.9 bar on the digital display (but still well in safe grey zone on the dial). Thanks for all your help. Who was the ‘company’ who sent out the engineer?
My husband has been sub contracting for Corgi homeplan this month and some of the ‘work’ supposedly done by previous engineers has been shocking.0
