Will it get flagged if I send another batch over?
Unlikely - I read in collecting forums of people sending in 4 or 5 batches of £100 plus.
I need to think of something new here...

This is interesting, from an article in the Guardian last month -

    https://www.theguardian.com/money/2022/dec/23/royal-mail-non-barcoded-stamps-deadline

More accurate than most of the articles that hit the local papers last year.

Here's a less helpful one about the Swap Out Scheme

  • The correct phone number to request a swap out form is 03457640640. I just used the number mentioned in the MSE newsletter and after on hold 30 minutes was given this new number which was answered almost right away.

I sent over £270 worth of 1st class large letter stamps

Over £200 worth you need the bulk swap out form

Where it asked for the value of stamps I wrote

X amount of 1st class large letter at £1.60 per stamp total value £xxx

One of the books only had two stamps instead of four, so they do accept incomplete books

Also place to enter postage costs

    Posted as per instructions below
    • You must send your form using the Royal Mail Special Delivery GuaranteedTM service with the appropriate level of compensation. Postage costs will be refunded by sending you the equivalent value in barcoded stamps added to your swap.

New stamps received two weeks later by signed for and postie did ask for a signature
