credit balance on tesco credit card

Thanks to a cancelled show, Ticketmaster have posted a refund to my credit card yesterday, which means the credit card is in a credit balance of just over £100.

I know technically credit cards should not be in credit balance,  but as this is a result of a refund is this ok.

I am intending to use the card again for a larger purchase but not until the end of January/early February, would it be ok still in credit balance during this period of time? or do i need to call Tesco and ask them to send the credit balance to my current account.

Being in credit as the result of a refund is not a problem.  Can you not use the card for day to day spending ?

I have a Tesco credit card and also had a refund to my card which put it in a credit balance. I phoned them and they put the money into my current account. You can also easily do it online.

    Here's their link - https://www.tescobank.com/help/credit-cards/balance-refunds/

I much prefer my money to be in my bank account and not theirs - for whatever period of time.
