I sent a parcel to Germany on the 12th December.

The app says "Delivery no later than 22nd December 2022".

The tracking says:

18th Dec - received at International hub

21st Dec - processed at hub 9.48am

21st Dec - processed at hub 1.28pm

It's not arrived but it looks like it's made or abroad. Does anyone know how long it takes after the processed at hub bit?

They celebrate Christmas on the 24th in Germany so I'll be gutted if it doesn't arrive as I'm assuming they won't do deliveries on the 24th Dec in Germany?

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

I think I would be prepared for it to be late as it was well outside the last recommended posting date for overseas, in fact the 12th was the last recommended date for internal UK 2nd class. A lot of the estimated deliveries didn’t take into account t the strikes, and if it was late getting out to Germany that will have a knock on effect .

That all assumes all the correct customs forms and VAT declarations were made and paid - but I assume if this was a regular thing you do then you are aware of the all swings and roundabouts needed to clear customs.

I send one every year to Germany and it usually arrives within days! Never had an issue.

I filled in all the customs codes. Just four Christmas jumpers so nothing perishable!

My friend in Germany posted hers on the 13th Dec and we got it on the 20th!

The OP says it was with Evri going to Germany, so Royal Mail domestic second class letter posting dates aren't really relevant, they are completely different logistics networks. Evri state the last posting date for Germany was 15th December, so if the OP sent it on the 12th, that should have been in plenty of time.

According to myhermes.de, the last domestic posting date was 21st. If it's been processed at the destination hub, then it should have cleared customs and so hopefully it's waiting to go on a van. Fingers crossed it'll be out for delivery soon.

That's ok. I do vaguely remember looking up the last posting date AFTER I'd sent it and thought I was within the deadline!

My fingers are crossed that it is delivered today! If not, they'll have to have a second Christmas or wear the jumpers next year!

I have sent an Evri International parcel to Germany that stopped tracking altogether but was delivered so the tracking is not always reliable.

It didn't arrive 😕. (Checked with my friend and tracking hasn't changed)

I tried contacting EVRI but they said I need to wait another 6 working days before they'll look into it.

    Good luck with Evri.
I am still awaiting a parcel from the US. It has been in the Evri depot in the UK since October.
Cant contact them myself as I am not their customer.
Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)

    Thanks!

Still no change on the tracking since 21st December so I'll just wait until about the 6th January then hope they've turned up really late or make a claim for a lost parcel.

I thankfully paid insurance for the full value!
