Just ensure that the Reward account always has at least a quid in it. At the beginning of the day. At all times during the day. At the end of the day.

My Reward account is kept at zero. I always get the reward.
I have gone overdrawn, but always balanced it by the end of the day.

I dip into the overdraft sometimes and repay it on the same day, always get the reward.

I think once I didn't get the reward because I made the last card payment at the end of the month and it was cleared in the new month.
