BT speed gaurantee

The speed guarantee as people keep telling you is to the router and no further, so for the 3 days loss of service, if that was at the router then yes, for the post router speed, then no.
BT cannot diagnose problems post the router as they do not know how you have anything configured, whether anything has hardware faults, or how your house is laid out or other interference may be present. No other ISP can know this either so they may try to help, they would be guessing. And given you descriptions in this thread you have been very confusing and trying to fit descriptions into your view of the world to fit the outcomes you want. This does not help diagnosis at all and I am not surprised BT could not help.
Not what you are wanting to hear, and is the opposite of the message you are trying to warn others about.2 -

No, you can't claim compensation from BT when your equipment wasn't delivering the performance you wanted.
If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0
