Tried agent but he is on holiday I will try owner. Also for the photos for POPLA you mean I need to make photos of the entrance in the dark, do I get it right?0

You need photos of the site and signage taken without flash in the same lighting conditions of that of the alleged event.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Does that sign have a large P on it? The rest of it sounds like a standard private car park entrance warning, meeting the requirements of the BPA Code of Practice. If so, move on, no loophole there.Deimaginator said:

It is the ENTRANCE sign that matters. not the signs inside the car park. If nobody is prior warned, it's like driving into a trapDeimaginator said:

Horizon Retail Park in Farnborough, Hants.
I rechecked it yesterday and there are times on the sign there, but they are a bit different then expected and not at the entrance.
Most UKPC signs are the same, do you have a picture you can upload here
A quick google search shows this site
They probably have an agent to manage the site, you need to ask questions to find out who can cancel this
The only sign that is on the entrance says: Private Land, 2hrs max stay and to see the notices in the car par for the terms of use. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Yes, standard UKPC sign .... problem with that sign at the entrance, it does not state times for the car park ... just 2 hours maximum stay .... could be anytime within 24 hoursDeimaginator said:

This is why the landowner or MA should cancel because it is misleading5 -
The whole point is that the scamming PPC cannot hold you to terms and conditions that were not on the signs or that you could not see/read.The idea of taking photos in the conditions that replicate the time the event took place, is to prove that the driver could not comply with a contract he was not aware of due to poor illumination, non existent, broken or faded signage etc. This would be compelling evidence for POPLA or in the event of a court claim UKPC usually spout rubbish that their signs comply with the BPA COP which the BPA don't audit at the actual site. They only evidence generic or electronic office copies which bare no relationship to the actual signage on site on the day.4

Good afternoon,
I got my 2nd letter reminding me of my fine recently on 27.12 stating that if I won't pay in next 14 days which is until 10.01.2023 including it, they will forward it to debt collecting company. I decided to pay it today, but when I put all the needed details and pressed forward it shows this:
Do they cancel the charge when passing it to debt collectors or for some reason I don't have to pay it anymore?
Best wishes!0 -
Why on earth would you choose to pay ? Because they threaten debt collectors?? You already have a lot of advice here, including that if the signs do not state a closing time, you have done nothing wrong. The pen is mightier than the sword ..... and I have many pens.2

That clearly said the charge has been cancelled and it means just that.Deimaginator said:Good afternoon,
