APCOA PCN Luton Airport

Hi All,
Received a PCN from APCOA for London Luton Airport, and having read through the Newbies thread I'm confused as to what I need to do (or indeed if there is anything I can do!), mainly because I missed the 28 day appeals window from APCOA (so when I now go through that process it tells me my PCN has been passed to Debt Recovery Plus, who I have received a letter from).
Looking at POPLA appeals process I need a APCOA appeals code, which I now can't get!
So, any other steps I can take? Or have I missed the boat on the appeals and now just have to wait and see if APCOA give up?
Would rather fight it if possible and not have anything coming back months/years down the line.
Thanks!

This would've been so easy get rid of with the first appeal.
The fourth post of the NEWBIES thread explains exactly how to deal with debt collectors letters, but to summarise that post - ignore them.2 -
Thanks @KeithP, really annoyed with myself for not getting the appeal in, but good to know I can just ignore 👍0

So I submitted a first online appeal to APOCOA they've sent me an email and letter saying 'provide us with drivers name and address' for your appeal to be fully considered, I understand that from the newbies thread giving out the drivers information is not something I'm meant to do. They then go on to say 'if not done within 14 days, we'll have to make a decision based on the information currently avaible'. I can't find anything that seems to mention this stage, will they send popla code after this 14 days has passed?

If you want any further advice or guidance, can I suggest you start your own thread to avoid confusion?3 -
Except no more threads are needed for APCOA!
Their Airport PCNs are pushed over like blowing a feather away, just by doing what the NEWBIES thread tells everyone.
I believe there are no questions or answers outstanding about these simple APCOA cases. Certainly don't reply to a begging letter asking who was driving.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thankyou for your help, for some reason a forum designed to provide help to like minded folk, does half make it confusing and for some reason frowns upon users creating new threads for issues or help relating to their pcn, so for this reason I've decided add a question on an existing post. From my experience as a new user of this forum it seems I'm not alone when it comes to trying to interpret information set out in this forum, based on a few posts I've read.
Unfortunately, far too many visitors just dive in and ask the same old questions having just skim-read or without even bothering to read the Newbies thread, where their question is already answered or has a pointer to where they may find their answer. You can understand the frustration when the same old question is asked, over and over again, albeit, by different victims. The experts will invariably answer politely but to the point, which in today's society, can apparently cause offence when none is intended.
Also, whether on this forum or any other, "hijacking" someone else's thread to seek advice on one's own issue, even if it is very similar, leads to much confusion as answers to each individual's problem get mixed up and confusion eventually reigns. Whilst probably not written anywhere specifically, there is an etiquette to using a public forum. Hijacking a thread is akin to interrupting someone who is already speaking.
So, please try and understand why you get the answers you do and feel free to just start your own thread. Yes, it is obvious to us that the issue of APCOA or any other PPC and car parks on non-relevant land is simple to defend. The advice is to just do some searches after reading the Newbies thread and most answers will found, so reducing the amount of work the volunteers have to do on here.2 -

Anyway, those daft letters always say 'tell us who was driving or we'll be forced to make a decision and give you a POPLA code'.. which all newbies surely know is exactly what you want.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
