You get a fit note from your GP and it will say whether you can't work at all or can work with some conditions. They can't be backdated to before they saw you.

""last three months I have lost lot of weight and gone weak""

Suggest that you speak to your GP about getting other tests done. If you have lost a lot of weight over 3 months, the GP may wish to rule out there being something more sinister going on than a back problem.

The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.
  • I had a mri on my whole back 2 years ago, it didn't show anything serious otherwise would have got picked up, I am also eating less calories but moving less so its not really adding up, but I have appointment with hospital next month il put it forward to my consultant.

An MRI is only as good for the moment it is taken.  It wont show any future events.

Eating less and moving less wont help you in the long run, muscle wastage and other complications is probably not helping your back issue.
