Christmas veg ideas for the freezer

My sizeable freezer is stuffed to the gills with soups! At the rate I'm going, its going to take until March to get through them - which I suppose is very money saving if I don't actually buy anything else!No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.2 -
I can fill my small freezer with Christmas price vegetables and save a few pennies, or use the space for portions of fish and meat and cheese, bought yellow stickered or on offer, and frozen in portions. There are often some good savings just after Christmas, 50% or 75% off.

I have made a delicious parsnip soup with cumin with two packs of 8p parsnips. Also have attempted to make sauerkraut with a 15p red cabbage! Crossing fingers that the cabbage does not go mouldy!
