PCN for a misleading parking ticket sign

I paid at the machine. I entered the car reg, put £5 in coins into the machine and pushed the button to print the ticket off, then displayed it in my car.
It's odd because, my friend and I only decided that we were going to Birmingham on the 4/11/22 so any planning on where to park would've happened after that date which was supposedly a few days after they increased the tariff, I remember checking the parking prices online and everything pointed to it being £5 for 12 hours. I specifically chose somewhere with an extended stay so I wouldn't have to worry about being late back to the car and getting a ticket ironically.
You relied on the contract advertised online and saw no prominent extra signs (required by the IPC CoP) intended to alert drivers of a significant change in terms or tariff. They could have put bright 'WARNING - TARIFF HAS CHANGED' stickers on the machine, extra signs up but they didn't. Quietly changing a digit on existing signs is not sufficient notice of a fundamental tariff change like this. Nothing alerted you to the recent change.PRIVATE 'PCN'? Very good. Easy case to defend. Certainly no paying it. This wasn't your fault.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Will do! Thanks again.
Should I be concerned that SIP or someone representing SIP could potentially read anything I've written in this forum and make the connection from the details I've provided in my posts and what I've emailed them? My forum username isn't similar to my email address but it's fairly obvious if I'm posting their correspondence.

Have a read of para 4.2 of this document and then respond to their email stating that you will evidence it in any subsequent claim, should they be so intellectually malnourished as to issue one before Thursday 9th May 2024:

I think I'll amend my posts then, at least temporarily until this is settled to remove anything that could link me to this forum.
I've saved everything and I'll put the posts back in place at a later date as it might be useful to other people.1 -
Hello everyone, long time since I've posted but I have an update.
As you can probably see a lot of what I posted I removed temporarily to avoid any prying eyes, but I can give a brief overview if needed?
I just received a letter from HM Courts & Tribunal Service with the claim form, response pack etc. If there are any details from this letter that would be helpful to provide, I can.
While I try to compose myself and read through this stuff, are there any guides I can follow on how best to respond? Edit: I think I've found the relevant guides, so I'm just reading through them now!
Thanks again, hope you're enjoying the weather!0
