Notifications problem

Hello
This morning I noted 2 notifications to a thread I posted on this board.
Both were after 11pm last night.
Both posters had previously posted on the thread in question but NOT last night.
I checked both posters last login and this was hours before these alerts came to my notifications in box.

When I click these notifications, it takes me to their original posts on the thread which was definitely not last night as detailed above.

I hope I'm clear but if not, please ask and I will try again.

Hi @diystarter7 I believe you received these notifications because two threads were merged into Site posting & login problems noted last few days. The notifications were to let you know that something new was on the thread they were merged into. It gives you a notification for each thread that has been moved in (I'm not sure if it gives you a notification about the incoming thread's opening post or the last member to contribute to the thread - but fortunately it gives you a single notification rather than 1 for every new post that is now in the thread).
