Registration of a Power of Attorney when person to "notify" has died.

Wonder if any one can help.
Mother in law did both types of LPA's in Summer of 2021 They are all signed, dated and witnessed but as she took a turn for the worse a few weeks later we didn't register them at the time as didn't think we'd need them .
Anyway fast forward a year and a half and although she still has capacity, she wants some help to sort finances so cue registration.
The difficulty we have is she put down a relative to "notify" who earlier this year passed away so obviously we can't notify her. I know you don't need to notify anyone but as her name is on the document what do we do?
How do we change the person to be notified to someone else or remove it altogether?
I have tried looking at the gov. website and googled but can't find anything about what I need to do.
Thanks

Unlike the old EPAs, LPAs are designed to be registered as soon as their have been completed, so that problems like this don’t happen. Had it been an attorney that needed changing it would have been a case of starting again which is not always possible. There is also the risk that a mistake had been made which might not be picked up or the procedure changes and the forms are no longer valid.
Why didn't I think of that!
It was probably because I filled it in online and then printed it out. Forgot you can download forms 🙄
