Thank you everyone. It is such a massive relief and if anything it has certainly got be focused on the debt. If I didn't have so much debt hanging over me we could have still managed quite comfortably but with nearly £700 a month going on minimum payments alone things were going to get tough quite quickly. My head is firmly in the game to ensure I don't end up in that position again.
I had been saving all my prolific and mystery shopping money since January 1st. The aim was to start snowballing this month but I thought I best not pay it off in case I end up needing the money but last night I paid off my Creation Finance loan 8 months early. That was only £31.88 a month but I will now start paying that money off the next creditor (my ex employer). Theres £483 left on that and ideally, I want to pay that off by the end of February.
Today consists of my usual weekend cleaning and packing ready to go away again tomorrow. I can't believe next Sunday will be my last time having to do this. Now I have I job, I am actually thinking they did me a favour as I've been fed up for a long time.
Its so windy out there today and I don't think the amber weather warning actually comes in until this evening, the dog hates the wind and hides in the corner when its like this.
I have a mystery shopping report to fill in from yesterday and then its time to start my day.
Happy Sunday everyone!!Total debt when my journey began in December 2022- £66,133.42

I'm getting so rubbish at writing in this diary, maybe it's because theres a lot of change going on in life at the moment.
Tomorrow is my last day in the job and all I have to do is have a quick goodbye meeting at 10am and then go and return all company property. I should be done and free by midday. I start the new job on Monday and I am really looking forward to it. Everyone seems really nice and it seems a lot more of a relaxed work environment than I'm used to.
We got a new car. We borrowed £5k for the deposit but as soon as my redundancy money comes through it will be paid straight back. Talking of cars, I must remember to let HMRC know that I no longer have a company car.
Today was the normal 1st of the month DD day so another small chunk gone from the debt. I am just £196 away from paying my ex employer back. I hope to have that knocked on the head in a couple of weeks time, then I can move onto the next which is the TV. Just about £600 left on that.
This weekend I need to go shopping for a couple of new tops and trousers for work. I hate spending money on work clothes but needs must.

It's finally here, my last day working at this company. I say working, I won't be doing a lot.
I've just logged into my HMRC account and informed them that after today I will no longer have a company car. I assumed I would just stop paying company car tax but after reading a few bits and pieces online, it seems it is not that straight forward. I'll keep an eye on that and not just assume I will automatically be £130 a month better off.
Today my second income and my expenses got paid into my account. There was an issue with my expenses last month and I made it through January without them so today there a good sum waiting there for me to assign. By the time payday comes next week, I should have around £600 left over. I am still using YNAB after a year. It has honestly been a game changer for me and the £12.99 a month it costs has saved me hundreds of pounds.
I now need £95 to pay off my debt to my ex employer and I have about £20 waiting to be paid out in Prolific. I will probably cash that out at the end of the day as the weekends are always quiet on there. Fingers crossed, I may have this paid off before my end of February target.
Right, time to get up and ready, I have a teams call with my soon to be ex boss and then its time to get the cleaning done AGAIN!!
Have a great day everyone.
