Sorry to hear that Mr SD is in hospital. Hoping he makes a swift recovery and is discharged soon Mrs_SD 🤞
DH and I had a rare day off together and so took a trip to the dump 😆 where we disposed of:
74. Broken vacuum motor (which was replaced for free by Shark)
75. Old light fitting from kitchen
76 - 85. Old rusted tools that the previous owners had left behind and DH found attached to the roof of the garage
86 - 90. Old roof felt pieces
91. Foam roller that we have no idea where it came from
92. Old dustbin
House continues to be kept quite tidy I must say and basic cleaning continues. Life stuff means I don't have much time to dedicate to decluttering properly but if I can keep on top of the basics then I'm happy.

@Mrs_Salad_Dodger hope DH is soon safely sent back home.
Need to declutter the washing up today as we have used all the dishes and plates now. I have not washed up since Tuesday morningthere is only the 2 of us and no visitors, well they wouldn't be coming to see my washing up pile now would they?
I had discarded an old washing up bowl the other week and sought one out from the garden. We have plenty due to previously using them for watering plants. A good scrub with bleach and was good to go.
Got a bag for CS now moved into the car and DH coat for the dry cleaners. Have an item that needs taking back to the shop for a smaller size. Sale bids are happening on my ebay account so hopefully some will be leaving early next week. 2 Books to drop off at the village library.
Have got rid of the ironing pile over a couple of days - doing it and then putting it away. Did throw out a woollen type dress. Converted a pillowcase into rags for DH's workshop/shed.
Will be having some more items from parents house this will be the last lot as it will be empty. I will be careful of what comes to stay and the other bits that are visiting. I have a thing about tupperware and am very conscious about this. My aim will be to slowly remove the modern plastic tubs and replace them. Should do that in a job lot on our local free page.
A wash load completed and placed onto dryer and the back bedroom is nice and warm. Another load to be is ready to be switched on and then dried.
Got to collect GD 13th birthday cake tonight which has been made each year by a work colleague who is now leaving for better employment it is then ready for Sunday. Ooh got a busy weekend - didn't realise that's adding some miles better get a wobble on.
Have a good weekend all

6 bags of charity shop bric-a-brac and clothes dropped off last weekend and this weekend my plan is to cull my wardrobe, get rid of at least 50% (it’s all stuff I never wear/doesn’t fit) so I can actually put away the things I do wear instead of them going from clean laundry basket to washing machine and back again and finally clear the doom pile of bags on my bedroom floor!“I want to be a glow worm, A glow worm's never glum'Coz how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?" ~ Dr A. Out: the laminate from the first floor! It was lying outside, waiting for husband to move it to the dump, and only last weekend - 9 months after we took it out - has he come round to it!

I've been keeping up with my daily photo/video decluttering and organising. Need to get myself sorted out today and finally clear the backlog of tidying around the house as it's a tip and DH's family are descending tomorrow..8,343 - online account deleted8,344-8,400 - emails permanently deleted8,401 - stationery (donated to school)8,402 - bathroom supplies used up8,403-8,417 - photos/videos deleted8,418-8,420 - packaging (reused)2025 decluttering: 3,925🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

Hi all, the sun is out here but more rain forecast by lunch time so I am taking the opportunity to sit in the garden with a cuppa. Union meeting organised after much messing around with dates and consultations with diaries etc and I have put the phone out of the way for a few minutes break
@Mrs SD, sorry to hear about Mr SD, I hope all the tests give an answer. As for covid unfortunately it's still out there causing problems but not everyone seems to be taking it seriously. I have even heard of employers who are expecting people to go into work after testing positive. They may be fine but there are still lots of vulnerable people around who are also now being expected to be in work. I hope Mr SD has a mild dose and is getting some of the best meds to deal with that as well. Take care of yourself, the hospital visiting is exhausting so hopefully he will be home soon.
537 union meeting organised
Take care everyone
