My current Email provider is driving me mad, backups, two step security, not picking up last password change (forgetting it), not always synchronising on all three maildrops. Synching with Youtube.
Anyone got any suggestions for an email provider?

Anyone got any suggestions for an email provider?
Care to name the current one to prevent us time-wasting by recommending the one you already have?

I really didn't want to share, as if my current is the best then i don't need to change. But if you insist?0

I use Gmail. I access it through a web browser.
Works for me.2 -

Anyone got any suggestions for an email provider?Well pretty much all email providers now (the mainstream three anyway) require two step security so if you don't want that you're sort of stuck. The synchronising thing (assuming you mean you can pull in emails from those outside of your provider) can be affected by issues outside of the provider's control.1 -
Is this for a domain you own or intending to change your email address?
If its for a domain you own do you have webhosting on the domain? Obviously many use the basic mail service that comes with their webhost.0 -
no webhost or domain linked. just 3 email addresses, all under Google. (the clue might have been in Youtube0

I'd have said gmail too. I do all those things mentioned including getting email from other email accounts (1 is on a webhosted domain) and I don't have any of those problems. And as mentioned above, 2 factor authorisation is very common now, and to be recommended.Retired at age 56 after having "light bulb moment" due to reading MSE and its forums. Have been converted to the "budget to zero" concept and use YNAB for all monthly budgeting and long term goals.1

I'd also reccomend GMail, had no issues at all with them.0
