Seems to me it is a bit of a Scam to get you subscribing to McFee - other have already said Iit does not come with a Microsoft product - they are different companies - you do need to take care if you actually sign up to this - YOU CANNot run Two Anti Virus on a computer - You will have to make sure one of them (including Firewall) is disabled.

It isn't a scam. You can buy an MS Office subscription bundled with McAfee or Norton on Amazon. It reduces the price a bit. You do not have to install McAfee (or Norton). You get the normal code for the MS Office subscription. I bought one last year as it made the price lower and just ignored everything but the Office subscription code that I wanted.
