PCN advice

Hi there.
Sorry to raise this topic again, but would appreciate advice….
The keeper of a vehicle has received a PCN for ‘driver – observed leaving site’. The image on the initial PCN simply shows someone getting out of a car, it does not evidence that person leaving site. Plus, a time is stated but there is no period of parking provided.
Initially the PCN was ignored but then contested (late) and now debt recovery letters are arriving, with costs of course going up….
Should the keeper continue to contest due to the initial notice failing to provide the information required by POFA or cut their losses and settle?

You can view all the photos by logging into the PPC's website, so do that first.Should the keeper continue to contest due to the initial notice failing to provide the information required by POFA or cut their losses and settle?Neither.
The 4th post of the NEWBIES thread is clear about ignoring DRA demands completely.
Which PPC?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

MSE is clear that you shouldn't ignore? UKCPS. th ekeeper can continue to ignore and see if it goes to court, but is there a basis for contesting the fine?0

In fact, if it wasn't for the question mark, I wouldn't have recognised it as a question.0 -
It's not a fine.
There is always a defence.
We have a Template Defence if you ever need it.
UKCPS are not litigious these days. There won't be a claim.
Not sure if you've been reading the MSE article on how to deal with parking tickets, if so, stop. It isn't great, as you can see from the posts on the Announcement thread by MSE_JC about the MSE 'guide'. Forget that guide.
Stick with this forum instead. We know what we are doing.

Doesn't help if the person photographed was the keeper/driver, so don't waste your time on POFA loopholes if it's the case that in court (which won't happen) it would be obvious that the Defendant is that person in their photos.
You already know the answer to your question "...so the keeper should ignore the debt recovery letter?" if you've even had a cursory glance at the 4th post in the NEWBIES thread.
It's there to rescue us from having to repeat ourselves again and again on hundreds of threads about laughable debt demands. We even had a UKCPS Group thread last year to stop new threads, because literally nothing will happen.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You are at debt recovery stage you have missed the boat to"contest" it and they will ignore you anyway, there's no profit in cancelling parking invoices.Paying a debt collector is just throwing money down the drain why would you pay a scammer that can't do diddly squat anyway? The leaving site scam is a little additional try on some PPC's have made up to get the maximum returns they can, very very few carry their threats anywhere with that one since "the toothbrush case" (google it it's funny).3

Hi,
Need some advice about this please.
I received a PCN from a company call SMART Parking ltd. It was for entering an outside car parking area apparently on private land, for just 13 minuets, and then leaving. The problem was for some reason I couldnt connect to their payment app with my phone. I tried but just could connect, so then I left. I never got out of the car. Four weeks later I received a PCN. I wrote straight back to them and explained the circumstances about my connection problem, and that I never got out of my car. But they wrote back to me and said that having considered my appeal they have decided to uphold the PCN, and asking for £100
They are advising me that if I want to appeal I can go through the POPLA appeal process. But from what I'm reading this process is biased towards the car parking company. Shall I ignor this and go to court ?0 -
