Hi . Thanks for taking the time . A family member ordered from a company called homary.uk a few weeks ago . They have not received the goods yet and trying to contact . She was given a tracking number . Logging onto the parcelforce website to track . They want £1 payable by card details . Is this a scam ? Any one heard of homary UK

Suspect this is a scam, never known Parcelforce to charge for tracking. If you Google homary, you’ll see they’re a furniture company0
-
Never heard of that before and can't find any mention of it on Parcelforce web site0
-
When she was given a tracking number was there a link she also clicked to Parcelforce0

The website details you posted, its not a website and surprised this was not picked up already.
Please post the correct details and I will help.

Have I missed something ? I logged into Parcelforce.com to check on the £1 charge so I'm not sure which website you refer to is not a website. Not having a go I'm just curiousdiystarter7 said:

Not to worry. What the OP stated did not seem right to me and when something does not sound quite right, I think outside the boxes.
Therefore, I was pretty sure Parcelforce was not the problem atm and I thought, ok, lets have a look at the site they ordered from. Therefore, I checked the site. Having checked the website as per the post you are referring to, I posted that in the hope that OP could point me in the right direction with the correct web address of the retailer they bought from.

I was guessing the company who gave the tracking number also gave a link to what was supposed to be parcel force and if it asked for £1 then it wasn't1

Which "company" would that be?MikeJXE said:I was guessing the company who gave the tracking number also gave a link to what was supposed to be parcel force and if it asked for £1 then it wasn't

No idea but if it was a scam the site would have to look like Parcelforce. The furniture company Homary has an up market website so I doubt the message came from them, i would think the best thing they can do is give them a ring0

https://uk.homary.com/tracking-order
If they enter their email address and order number to the link above - it should take them to the tracking of their order.
There'll not be a £1 charge to track a Parcelforce delivery.
It appears to be a multi-national supplier - although seems to have a base in the UK - do they know where in the world their product is coming from?1
