I do that. Do you have any vouchers from Christmas you can use as a spending spree?

I did this and it really helped, all the fun and non of the guilt. Hope you feel better soon, feeling down isn't fun, believe me I know.

  • Morning all, hope everyone is ok today, still feel lousy and dont know why.

Hoping going out tonight and relaxing will help. Gf is driving so i'll be able to have a couple of drinks.

Dont think there will be much going on debt wise as need to wait till friday till i get paid.

Although i suppose stopping myself spending when i want to is technically DFW
    Right time for a :coffee:

  • You're doing really really well so far! Sometimes with the DFW journey it starts so quickly and spectacularly that after a couple of weeks it feels like you're looking around saying 'alright- what now?'.

The big steps are great but the little ones are just as important- and you should give yourself just as much credit for them- things like checking out new cashback sites, signing up for a new survey site all count!

Of course you feeling down might be nothing to do with the DFW bit- if that's the case ignore what I just said and get a few pints down you tonight and schedule some *private time* with your gf ;)

  • Thanks, yea things seemed to have slowed down. They will slow down even more once my overtime stops at the end of Jan, which worries me slightly as i dont want to get demotivated. Although by my reckoning my Abbey card will be cleared by then so it will be the big card where the movement is which should hopefully still be about £500 per month. If i can manage that then it will be cleared by the time the 0% runs out!

Im not sure what it is, which doesnt really help

Dont worry *private time* already scheduled ;) :rotfl:

yeah, go out tonight with your little lady, have a few drinks, take a big deep breath, get the lady to give you a big hug and enjoy your pint...!

  • Morning all,

Im back :j:T Was nice to relax last night, did me the world of good! A few pints and then home for a Tesco Indian.

Didnt over spend either, my budget was £15 and i spent £9.60! so impressed with myself on that front!

I've got no reason to be down, my gran is home, my debts are the lowest they have been for ages and falling at a decent pace.

Just think i got a bit tied up in the amount i've paid off recently, if i didnt have the debt in the first place what i could have done with the money instead.

Need to focus on the positives and not the negatives, so onwards and upwards or should that be onwards and downwards for the debts!

    Now time for a :coffee:
