Just gone through and done Eager Learners spreadsheet to help monitor my spending and debts. I have my own spreadsheet for my debts but will keep this one upto date aswell.
Really looking forward to hammering my debts. I feel really motivated and cant wait as the reward for getting rid of it all will be getting a house with my girlfriend.Debt Now~Total-£14,366.72~CC-£1,600.00~Sofa-£1,349.01~Loan-£11,417.71

Right my to do list
- Cancel Snooper
- Cancel Experian
- Check house for ebay able things. (Already got a few car parts that can be put on, a jet spa thing you put in the bath and a home gym that never really got used
)
- Look at other areas that can be cut back on!
- If all goes to plan and dont spend any money tonight then another £50 can go off my clear a debt by April challenge tomorrow when i get paid (£50 being the remainder of what i have left from last weeks wages) :T

Not a huge amount (£11.94 pm) but it is still something else that can go towards the debts!Debt Now~Total-£14,366.72~CC-£1,600.00~Sofa-£1,349.01~Loan-£11,417.71

Another Job done, wages are showing on my online banking and havent spent much today (apart from lunch as forgot mine) so just done another £50 off my Abbey CC.
Also got some xmas money that has still to clear along with some pocket money from a grandparent so that will be another £50.
Then my overtime will start properly next week which will be the main way im able to finish the clear a debt by april challenge.
Also going to make a point of transferring the £12 from above everytime it would have gone out so that it doesnt just disappear in pointless spending.
Achieved quite a bit off my list today. Probably wait till weekend to look at stuff to ebay and tomorrow i'll look at what else can be cut back on. Need to wait till pool/bowling start next week to see what its going to cost me from now on after telling everyone that im going to buy my own drinks from now on.Debt Now~Total-£14,366.72~CC-£1,600.00~Sofa-£1,349.01~Loan-£11,417.71

Well i've got a fairly dfw weekend planned, night in with the gf and a couple of bottles of wine tonight (she is bringing wine from a box brought back from france by her parents for us)
Work all day Sat and Sun, tomorrow round a mates for a night on boys toys with a few beers (crate that i took round a while ago and hasnt been finished) although we'll probably end up ordering takeawaybut if all i spend over the weekend is £5 then its fairly good! :j
Also got the pocket money from my grandad (always gives us it, regardless of our age!) and cheque should hopefully clear tuesday next week so that will be another £50 and if im good next week i'll try and do another £50 from my normal wages.
Also will get my overtime paid friday (11th) so that will ALL be going off my debt.
Whats anybody else got planned for there weekend?Debt Now~Total-£14,366.72~CC-£1,600.00~Sofa-£1,349.01~Loan-£11,417.71

Now doing Moozies weekly challenge to keep track of how much im spending on pointless stuff! Target is £20 for this week! Wish me luck :rotfl:
If i stick on track im hoping to do £100 at the end of this week (before my wages for next week go in) which will be my £50 xmas/pocket money and £50 from my wages.
Then all my overtime money will be going straight off Abbey card and try and do another £50 out normal wages at the end of that week.
Cant believe how much im cutting back and actually thinking before is spend.:j
Upto £4.40 on Piggy clicks which i didnt think was too bad considering i havent been doing it long!:TDebt Now~Total-£14,366.72~CC-£1,600.00~Sofa-£1,349.01~Loan-£11,417.71

MBNA rang me up last night  (my Abbey CC)
Offered me 0% on Balance Transfers for 9 months, told them they were my most expensive card so wouldnt be transferring. But asked if they could do anything on the rate "sorry i only deal with Balance transfers"
I proceeded to have a rant about the way i had been treated and made him wish he hadnt phoned :rotfl: he told me to ring customer services and ask about lowering the rate, told him i had already and they said no (but thats was when all my CC debt was on one card and i was getting towards my limit)
Think i'll give them a ring later and see what they say, might save something now its not near its limit and they have extended the limit aswell :eek:Debt Now~Total-£14,366.72~CC-£1,600.00~Sofa-£1,349.01~Loan-£11,417.71

I think you're doing brilliently well and sensibly too not cutting so far to the bone that you feel deprived so go and spend anyway !!
I have no doubt you'll hit the April challenge-in fact I predict you'll do it by the end of MarchI Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Hey hon, you are doing fab! a good to hear that snooper and experian are gone. The odd occasional treat shouldn't be frowned upon, we are all human after all so a fiver on a weekend is to be enjoyed guilt free (expecially if it is a nice soggy curry with loads of sauce!! yumumumumum!!!! are you a mushroom rice or a pilau rice kinda guy?
You're whacking £50's off that debt left and right centre, the abbey card will be gone on no time.
Have to say bless to grandad though, that is so lovely.
And LOL to the home gym!! bad! very bad!!! sadly is the fate of most home bought gym equipment to sit in a corner until sold on ebay, any chance of having a bit of a work out, just to make it feel loved? ;-)debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0
