Just paid £8.31 off my Barclaycard as I hate not having round numbers on the card im working on! :rotfl: Not alot but means everything will be ready for when i start making my big payments off that card! :j

Morning all,

Not alot to report today, money has cleared my Abbey card so it is now 0! Question is if i transfered a balance today (im inpatient) and there is interest from the last month, when i make my first payment will this clear the interest or will the interest be the last thing cleared and i end up paying interest on interest IYSWIM??

Nothing else really to report at the minute. Wont really be over paying this week as going away for Anniversary with the gf although she did turn round a couple of weeks ago and say she didnt want a present (we are going away though) so havent got her anything else apart from the flowers that I ordered the other week.

How is everyone else?

But probably, they do like to get as much money as possible! And it depends when in the month you got to 0. When I was paying off a store card I was charged interest on a 0 balance, but the card had had some remaining balance at the start of the month!!! :rolleyes:

Needless to say I got them to remove the 20p payment request as a 'goodwill' gesture!

yes you're right. leave the BT until you know for definate whether more interest is going to be charged. any subsequent payments will come off the BT and so the interest will increase as you think.

Just inpatient and want to transfer the mint card now so i can close it sooner!

Suppose i'll just need to wait a week or so till the statement comes through and it has cleared. :rolleyes:

Im not to bad although im not really in the best of moods or spirits this week. Not sure why though
