Thanks V,
Yea i am fine for driving and work they know what i do for a job and what it envolves. I just keep an eye on it. Also I drive an auto so it isnt quite as bad!
Its a bit of an unusual condition i think as there is no physio etc for it. I just have to let the scar tissue heal and see how it goes from there. That is the only thing that is causing pain at the minute as it is a bit tight as it is trying to pull the skin together.Debt Now~Total-£14,366.72~CC-£1,600.00~Sofa-£1,349.01~Loan-£11,417.71

Hi All,
Well Friday = Payday so another £150 off the dreaded abbey card! Leaving £140 to pay next week then it will be cleared again!
Once thats done it is onto the Barclay card which should take spprox 2 months to clear. Then onto the Mint Biggy! By my calculations that will take till February next year. Then it'll take a couple of months to save up to clear my loan. Then the saving will need to start
Weekend im going to try and get a few bits sorted, been living in chaos for a while with stuff everywhere so gonna try and get sorted and start trying to concentrate properly again. Also got some car bits i've got to sell so gonna get them all sorted and ready to go, hopefully that willl get a reasonable amount of money back!
Apart from that not alot happening i dont think! Got to go change my signature now!
And then time for a :coffee:Debt Now~Total-£14,366.72~CC-£1,600.00~Sofa-£1,349.01~Loan-£11,417.71

Morning all :hello:
Had a really unproductive weekend, didnt get half the stuff done i wanted to so gonna need to plough into it tonight and tomorrow instead. Got a new dvd rack at the weekend which will hopefully help tidy up my room as have loads stack ontop of current rack.
Then need to sort through my old clothes that dont fit any more and make some room. Then need to fully tidy my room so that it doesnt look like a bomb site! Fed up living in chaos.
Money saving wise, had a cheap weekend, used £10 that i had in my wallet left over from last weeks spends so used that!
Cant believe that we are in June already, last six months seem like a blur. Doesnt seem like that long ago it was christmas.
How was everyones weekend?
time for a :coffee: who else wants one?

Morning all,
Doing my daily check of bank/cc's and saw that Abbey are offering a 0% till april 2009 deal with a 3% charge.
Now I have
£1,308.31 on my barclaycard at 6.9% lob
£4,202 on my mint card at 0% till november
£4,166.02 on my loan (which includes all interest till finish)
Now my date for paying everything off is approx April 09 so do i transfer the whole lot onto 0%
Invoking fees of
Barclaycard £39.25
Mint £126.06
Loan (if full amount so worse case scenario) £124.98
Total Fees £290.29
The offer is supposedly available till September.
Now the interest on my barclay card is £6.75 ish a month which if i stick to budget so will be clear in approx two months (3 worse case) 3x £6.75 = £20.25 - Verdict not worth transfering as £19.00 worse off
Mint will need to be transfered regardless as 0% will run out, but i can wait til 30th August so will have made two more payments of approx £95, reducing the balance to £4,012 (£4,012 x 3% = 120.36 in fees) - Can save £5.70 if i wait two months.
Loan - the sooner it is transfered the better as there will be less interest.
Question is - is this the right thing to do? I would be loading one card up leaving about £1000 on it for emergencies. I would have NO other credit bar this one.
Should i do it now as the saving is only £5.70 for the mint card if i wait to do it.
Or do i transfer the Loan and Mint card onto the abbey card and then just pay of the barclay card as is. Paying minimum on Abbey card till Barclay card is clear then all payments would be going straight to Abbey till it is clear.
What are people opinions?
