Right havent used the gym for months with work and other stuff so just phoned up and cancelled it for the time being, i can always go back to it but in the mean time it is an extra £30 a month towards my debt!

Just spoke to my mum and been told there is nothing more they can do for my gran. So it is just a case of when and not if now. They will give her comfort care but that is all they can do. Cant see the keyboard to type this properly

Hi Eamd, I read your thread but don't usually post. So sorry to hear about your gran. No way to avoid the pain of losing someone, you just have to endure it. One day you'll be able to think of them and just feel happy to have had them in your life. Remember your debt-busting is helping her too - she can feel good knowing you are on the right track in your life and are building for the future with your girlfriend. Lots of kind thoughts aimed your way at this time.

Many thanks for the kind words, Hasnt been any change at the minute, hardly slept all weekend.

Not alot else to say really. Cant concentrate on anything properly and didnt get any DFW stuff done at the weekend.

Got the call i'd been dreading on Thursday. My Gran passed away in the morning

The funeral is friday.

Had to go and get some new shoes yesterday for the funeral as my old ones were falling apart.

£35 for them so not too bad but money saving is going out the window a bit at the minute.

Still having trouble sleeping and end up tossing and turning most of the night getting by on a few hours broken sleep. Just feel physically and emotionally drained.

Oh eamd - I'm so sad for you - its a real knock when something like this happens - even when you are expecting. Think back to all the good times you had with your Gran. I'm sure things will be easier once you have got through Friday.
