Can anyone clarify for me, if you win a prize worth £500 with Bauer, can you not enter ANY Bauer competitions for 6 months or just Bauer comps above £500  Thank You

For avoidance of doubt this means that an entrant will not be eligible to win any prize if the entrant has in the past six (6) months won a prize valued at £500 or more.  We reserve the right to disqualify your mobile phone number from future Competitions during this period.

I read this that if we were to win anything over £500 there is a 6 month exclusion from all comps..

For avoidance of doubt this means that an entrant will not be eligible to win any prize if the entrant has in the past six (6) months won a prize valued at £500 or more.

This is why I was confused it seems to contradict itself.

When i won a holiday i was told i could not enter any comps for 6 months over the phone as i asked.

If you have won "£500 or more)

That includes £500 and then the ban is for competitions of £500 or more

To put it another way - If you win an individual prize worth at least £500 the ban means the largest individual prize you can win for 6 months is £499.99 - you can win an unlimited number of prizes worth less than £500 whether in a ban period or not

A win of £500 starts the ban and prizes worth £500 upwards are caught by it

I appreciate it does seem to contradict itself elsewhere in the paragraph, but that quite clearly says if you have won a prize valued at £500 or more, you will not be eligible to win any prize.

It’s definitely that you cannot win any prize irrespective of value for 6 months after you have won a prize valued at £500 or more. 

Like @Makeandsave I specifically asked when I won a tv and the answer was that you can’t win anything at all for 6 months.

I don’t know if anyone has successfully won something within their ban period on here.

I have (Kind of). I'm on a bauer ban after a hits radio win. Won something from fate & fortune (which to be fair I entered before I went live on hits radio) and I queried whether I would still be eligible to win considering I'd won on the radio and she said I could still claim as the prize was under £500. 

That being said I just avoid all bauer comps while on a ban as it's easier than the faff of guessing how much a prize is worth

I received a winning email on Friday which says -

We’d like to let you know that the prize you’ve won is valued at £500 or more, so as per our T&C’s, neither you nor another individual living at the same residential address as you are entitled to win another Bauer Media prize for the next 6 months. This is so we can ensure everybody has a fair chance of winning.
