Sent 58, got 58 back today!
    When did you send them?
It took 2.5 weeks between sending the old ones and receiving the new ones.
Thanks, mine were received by royal mail special delivery friday last week.

So i might get new ones back in the next fortnight.
  • I sent £106 worth of stamps to RM Swap out in one of their official prepaid envelopes on 10th August and have received nothing back yet, should I be worried?

Also, all of them are real, unfortunately I did have a small patch that I found out were fakes and did not send them.

I’m not sure what current timescales are like but I think they used to be operating at around 3 weeks. So I’d probably be expecting to hear back from them any day now. Might be worth giving them a ring if you haven’t received anything by the end of the week. I assume you have proof of postage when you sent them?

  • I don't have proof of postage, as nothing on the form said I needed that or to send it signed for, as a prepaid envelope. I followed exactly what they told me to do on the form.

However, I took photos of my claim form, all the stamps I was sending, and also took a video on my phone of me posting it in the letter box.

I thought you only had to send it signed for/special etc, if over £200

    Thanks
  • I did send 120 stamps, a mixture of 1st, 2nd small and large, so I am not sure if this takes them longer to progress?

Also, if it ever went missing in the post, it is RM who lost it?!

You just take it to the post office & ask for proof of posting slip. Costs nothing.

  • Yes, i should of done that, but how many people have done that? it does not request for this to be done anywhere on the form, so why are they not telling people to do that?

and what happens if you get a proof of posting and it is lost on return to you, who do they blame then? do they send it signed for when they send it back?

not completely sure how proof of posting helps unless Royal mail refund all lost items to the value of whatever the sender says was in there providing a proof of posting is produced

I’m fairly sure the T&C’s for swaps under £200 said that they would replace if it got lost in the post, provided a proof of postage could be provided (it might still say that, but not sure).
