My Smart meter - on E10 - only reports totals to the IHD. I have to go to the meter to get the R01/R02 split - annoying when on 6 month statements - but now on monthly email. But the IHD can show the current tariff price, standing charge etc if scan through the costs £ on that model. And that does actually change - so shows peak rate for the non E10 hours - and the off-peak unit rate for the E10 hours.
  • It is possible to check which rate is active.

    1. Hold OK until it enters the ‘Main Menu’, you will see ‘Billing’ appear
    2. Hold OK to enter the ‘Billing’ sub-menu
    3. Using the arrows, scroll to ‘Tariff’ (1 push of the > button)
    4. Hold OK to enter the ‘Tariff’ sub-menu, you will see ‘Now’ appear
    5. Hold OK to enter the ‘Now’ sub-menu, you will see current tariff rate.
Refer to past bill for day or night tariff to check which is active. Likely to be more than 0.20 for day rate or less than 0.20 for night rate.
