Please add buttons for coloured text. 

Can we do coloured text somehow now?

In theory it should be possible (in the </> view) to create inline style definitions, but the forum software might strip them out.

When this version of the forum first appeared there was a guide which seemed to work and, as @Jenni_D writes, it was iffy and if you edited a post, it stripped it out.   After many frustrating attempts, I gave up.  Anyone who wants to try it I repeat it below.

<span style="color:red">This is red</span> or <span style="color:blue"> BLUE</span> or <span style="color:green">this is green</span> or, using colour codes, <span style="color:#DB7900">this is #DB7900</span>

Tried it and the forum strips it out as soon as you hit the </> button again or edit the post. But if you post it directly from </> view it works.

What I found too; but it is so dispiriting to have to adjust it once you've posted and edited, I gave up!
