We decided to use the money to pay for a family meal out. We had a great time, it was lovely knowing it was paid for with free money xxx

    I’d like to join please.
I’ve been decluttering and this thread will motivate me with online sales. I want to carry on with reducing stuff in my life and keep on top of getting money in for it.
I have a holiday in the middle of this month so we’ll see!
Got 28 items on eBay and some are looking encouraging.
Thank you for running this thread. I know you will all inspire me. I’ve not been around these forums for a long, long time, but I learn so much.

This week I’ve been keeping an eye on my pension that I pay into and it has gone up for the first time in ages, I’ve made a note but I won’t add it unless it continues to grow and is still showing an increase by the end of the month.

The last 2 months I’ve also been keeping an eye on refunds from various suppliers as I moved house, that would have been perfect for this!

I’ve got my first mystery shop in years booked for Monday - actually looking forward to it. And I’ve reapplied for Nectar card and got money pending in Top Cashback.

Welcome to the challenge and good luck :)  you sound like you are doing really well :)

    Thank you. 😍

About time I got organised x

So far this month I can count:

£105.43 from eBay - but that’s before loads of fees to be taken away.
    £3.20 bank interest
£3.85 in coppers/silver coins I’m going to bag up or have put in my purse that were in a pot or two where I live.

As suspected the pension I pay into went down after suddenly jumping £500 in a day this week, it’s still up on the last day of November so I think the most sensible thing to do is have a look if it has gone up again by the end of the month, I’m counting it as income although I can’t touch it for a long time!

Tomorrow I have items listed ended with bids so far of £50 and am doing a mystery shop at a funeral company. It’s less than a mile for me to walk to so am going to fit this in amid working from home as well as posting eBay sales so far.

I like the knock-on effect of this challenge where I’m looking closer than ever at what I’m spending and where I’m saving money. It’s  good to be in control.

I went to a party where there was a Secret Santa and someone bought me a present I have no use for and I looked up and saw that it’s being sold for £12+ online, so erm that will be on eBay soon. I can’t face Facebook Marketplace.

Logged back into YouGov after 6 years, 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️still got almost 4,000 points needed until £50. Signed up for a new (to me) survey site and finding it hard to be motivated with it.

Thank you for all the inspiration and reading my long post!

You are doing fab with ebay :)  I tried it last month, but then got despondent with a parcel that went missing, and is like plaiting fog trying to get the compensation from delivery company :(

Have you tried Prolific - best survey site that I have ever used, though do think there is a waiting list for them at the moment.

Thank you I think I might have signed up a couple of years ago but didn’t carry on or even may have opted out at that time, I need to look into it again. With eBay, I’ve got loads of unused stamps so I’m just offering second class post and using up my stamps. It’s a lot of faffing but despite the strikes using delivery firms other than post office makes me a little anxious. I’d say don’t give up on eBay, if you can bear it. I’ve had stuff on for 2-3 weeks and have sales of £266.11, from 21 items - 24 items not sold - I think these items could be better on Vinted or depop as they are much younger fashion.
