Morning.
I'm not feeling great this morning. I've woken up to a sore throat and really bad headache so hoping they will get better as the day goes on as I've got a chippy shift tonight.
I got called into work early yesterday so that's an extra couple of hours to add into this months wages, will be about £16 once tax man has got his hands on it!, but its better than a kick in the teeth. I've got a 4 hour shift tonight as well so it's mounting up slowly and hopefully I should get around £800 this month
I must get on and get some orders despatched today. I've had another one received on Etsy and a couple more people asking for quotes so fingers crossed things seem to finally be picking up again on this front too which is good because I really was starting to worry. At least I should just scrape past the £100 earnings from it this month as mid way through it looked like I would be lucky to get even half that!
Right going to get a shifty on and starting cracking through my list for today.
So here's my (not so) little list:-- Play on Mistplay - 2 points so far - hoping to get 50 today

- Answer Etsy shop enquiries - DONE raised a custom order for £45, gave a quote for £30 to another person and also offered to make something in a different colour with the add on of some stickers as well. Fingers crossed they all buy

Morning all.
It's chucking it down with rain here today so I will be staying indoors other than to drop son off at bus stop as he is having a day in the City with his friends today.
I'm going to try and not put the heating on all day although it feels freezing here on the Broads. My wearable blanket is ready to go along with a pair of thick fluffy socks as I seem to have misplaced my slippers - I'm blaming the dog - she loves slippers bless her!
Other than that, I'm hoping for an uneventful day working on orders and then at the chip shop later this evening.
So here's my (not so) little and very optimistic list:-- Play on Mistplay - 2 points so far - hoping to get 50 today
- Make cross in my pocket for order and post off - made and packaged. Will post off on way to work to save petrol
- Make Nail planners for Etsy orders and post off

- Set up custom listing for planner with stickers on Etsy (worth £21.25) - DONE thank you FP x
- Design some new card making sheets based on suggestions what people are looking for to hopefully get some sales on Craftsuprint
- Put all Christmas gifts bought into a box so I don't lose them
- List two things on FB marketplace and renew existing listings - 7 listings renewed and now trying to find something else to list
- Reply to enquiry on FB marketplace about sticker packs - DONE paid via paypal and I'm posting off (charged her postage plus a bit extra to cover fees). She bought 5 packs so I've transferred £5 into the OP savings account
- Look again for heart place card holders listed on FB Marketplace after enquiry
- Complete some of an online course included in a membership which runs out at end of month
- Comment on In Search of Posts on Facebook to hopefully get some more orders

Morning.
Another cold, damp and windy day here again so another day indoors day for me.
Our Son is not working now so I may take him out somewhere for lunch if he wants to go.
I've also got to take my chip shop boss to the doctors today for his jab for his holiday. Not sure I came to be doing it but I stupidly agreed so that is going to take up an hour or so during my morning before I'm back to work at 4pm tonight.
I'm really annoyed with Amazon as I ordered some speciality cardstock for an order to be delivered yesterday and Amazon delivered it but it turns out they delivered to the wrong house!!! I urgently need this cardstock as the customer needs her order by the end of the week (£45) but the replacement will not be delivered to me until Thursday so I'm going to have to go on a hunt to try and find more but know it will cost me a far bit more which will basically eat all my profit through no fault of my ownI'm starting to get despondent with Amazon as the last few orders have all had problems
Other than that nothing else exciting planned today so I'll just pop my list here to keep me accountable
Today I shall:-- Play on Mistplay - 39 points so far - hoping for 100
- Make Nail planners for Etsy orders and post off

Well MSE must have been telling me that I needed to slow down I think as I am really struggling with a cold and have been feeling pretty grot these last few days (which came inside with me not being able to access the forums).
I'm still not feeling great but I'm feeling better than I was so I'm going to ease myself back in gently today with a few things which will help us save a few pennies to put towards the mortgage hopefully.
Today I shall:-- Play on Mistplay - DONE 27 points earned

I took your advice and spent the day binge watching Married at First Sight with my daughter who is home from Uni before doing my chop shop shift
It turned out to be just what I needed and it was lovely to just spend some time with her too xMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.021 -
Good morning everyone.
My cold is still lingering and making me feel a bit pants so I'm trying to be kinder to myself and allow my body some time to rest.
I've started today watching two more Married at First Sight episodes with our daughter (I'm slightly obsessed!!!) but really need to crack on and try to make a little progress towards this mortgage free mountain if I can.
Hubby is collecting his father in laws car in two weeks time with a view to being able to list it for sale. Fingers crossed it will sell quite quickly and we can put back the 5K we took out out of savings to give to his mum as she needed it sooner rather than later as it's depressing me a little knowing that the figures for this month will have gone backwards rather than forwards.
My head is also filled with panic about having to pay brother in laws rent for the next few months which basically works out like I am working at the chip shop for nothing as all my wages will be having to be used for this purpose. I feel really guilty for feeling that way as it is nothing compared to what they are going through after losing their daughter but I've said it out loud now and probably sound like a right cow but I'm trying to be honest and that is just how I feel for now. I know its wrong and I'm really sorry to let you all down by voicing my horrible thoughts x
we are still both patiently waiting for payday. Hubby and I's usual payday is 28th of each month but no sign yet of any money hitting our account. I hope they both hurry up as I really want to add even a few pounds into the savings account so I feel like some progress has been made.
So today I shall:-- Play on Mistplay - 37 points so far - hoping for 50
