Good morning,
Today is the last day of hubby's course so he will be home later this evening which I cannot wait for (and not only so he can do a few late night duties instead of me)
I only have a 4 hour shift today which will be bliss after the 10+ hour days I have been doing although I am also trying to forget that it should have been my day off, so I'm hoping I can blast through my list and achieve lots
I've crunched some figures and we are making good progress - we currently have enough money saved to pay off BTL1 mortgage when the fixed rate comes to an end in June next year and £32k towards BTL2 mortgage. I'm so happy as sometimes I feel like we are getting nowhere
So today I HOPE I WILL:-- Play on Mistplay (50 points target) - 27 points so far
- Watch videos on WeR8 - one video worth 6p watched
- Investigate cafe purchase further
- BK shift (12pm - 4pm) - DONE ended up working until 4.30pm
- Finish printing large Etsy order, cut cards and post off - DONE
- Post positivity postcards made yesterday - DONE
- Print and post off display cards for repeat customer
- Design prayer box artwork for Etsy customer and send proof
- Raise claims with Royal Mail for lost parcels
- Update monthly spreadsheet
- Renew facebook marketplace listings - DONE five listings renewed
- Comment on in search of posts to hopefully get a few orders - commented on one post so far today
- Check free postcode lottery - DONE not a winner
- Complete Prime Opinion survey
- Download some more clipart - DONE
- NSD - FAILED really fancied a takeaway but settled instead for chinese ready meals which were reduced in lidl - that's a sort of win

Good afternoon (or should I say nearly evening)
I have been enjoying a lovely day with hubby and the doggo as I have a day off. We had a lovely long walk on the beach and then enjoyed a pasty from our favourite bakery. It has been lovely but it's now time to knuckle down and get a few bits crossed off my list
Big news before that though - we are taking the plunge and buying the cafe - I feel both excited and terrified all at once as it is going to be a very steep learning curve I think but one which will hopefully help us in the long term to pay off our mortgages by adding to the money we have coming in. We agreed a price of £27k and I am ready to put in the hard work so let's see what the future brings. Hey what's the worst that could happen - we could always sell it on again if we really hate it and at the moment it is not too late to back out if we come to our sensesIt's never going to make huge money for us but in all honesty we don't want it too. We just want it to tick along nicely providing wage for me and hopefully a little something extra each year as an added bonus
The more I think of it the madder I think we are though - especially me as all hubby will do is some shopping trips for me and the odd bit of maintenence - if I put him behind the counter we would have no customers at all
Anyway after that bombshell lets get cracking with my list for today

Well done on making a decision about the cafe. It will be a lot of work but you will be in control of your hours which will be a huge bonus.
Other ways hubby could help out at the cafe washing up, emptying the bins 😁
Any ideas how long it will take to process the cafe sale?Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
